Macro investor and fund manager Dan Tapiero believes that Bitcoin (BTC) reaching *$200,000 by 2025 is entirely plausible.* In his recent conversation on social media platform X, he shares insights with his 123,500 followers, emphasizing that when the US government begins to tighten its fiscal policy, the leading cryptocurrency will experience significant growth.
Tapiero argues that the Federal Reserve’s current focus on inflation is misguided, pointing out that interest rates in the US remain excessively high. He brings attention to the economic situation in China, suggesting that people need to grasp the implications of the world’s second-largest economy facing deflation. He confidently states, “Danger in China. Do people understand? The second-largest economy in the world DEFLATING now. Fed concerns on inflation wrong. Interest rates [are] still too high in [the] US and now fiscal policy will tighten, USD strengthen. Liquidity coming to drive… Bitcoin. $200,000 next year [is] doable.”
As the founder of 10T Holdings, a crypto venture capital firm, Tapiero predicts a substantial shift in the crypto market, forecasting that the total market cap of digital assets could approach $10 trillion during this cycle. “Back in mid-2019, I thought [the total market cap of crypto] could hit $10 trillion. Hence the fund name. Many Bitcoiners claimed I was too conservative. They have been right. Total market cap of cryptocurrency will challenge $10 trillion this cycle. Unique asset in the history of value and finance.”
Adding to this optimistic outlook is best-selling finance author Robert Kiyosaki, who speculates that Bitcoin could reach even greater heights in 2025. He highlights the inherent design of Bitcoin that allows even latecomers to capitalize on its potential, saying, “The beauty of Bitcoin’s design is that it is never too late to start, regardless of how high Bitcoin’s price goes. Bitcoin is designed to make everyone rich, even those who start late. Just don’t get greedy… Bitcoin to $350,000 by 2025.”
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $97,082, reflecting a slight decrease for the day.
